Currencies

Currencies

Woosage50 Professional Edition supports order processing in multiple currencies, provided that the the multi-currency features of Sage are enabled and configured (e.g. additional bank accounts) and that the website has a multi-currency plugin to handle exchange rate conversion.

Orders can be processed in any currency and can be directed to specific nominal codes or customer accounts, if required. Payments can also be assigned a specific bank nominal codes in the selected currency.

Pricing is handled via exchange rate conversions in the website, not not by Woosage50 (i.e all pricing is in base currency).

Settings

Configuration of currencies is handled in Woosage50>Settings in two places: Payments and Currencies

1. Woosage50>Settings>Payments - where a payment method for each currency can be defined, as shown below. For further details see the article Payment Settings.

2. Woosage50>Settings>Currencies - where you can optionally override the Woosage50 or Sage settings for product sales nominal codes and customer accounts relating to orders in non-base currencies, as shown below.
