Upgrading the Sage Version
Woosage has a Sage Version selector in the Settings>Sage tab of Woosage Control Centre, which allows you to change the version of Sage that Woosage is connecting to. If the version you wish to upgrade to is not shown in the dropdown selector (see below) then you will need to download and install a new version of Woosage as described here.
Upgrading Sage with a main version (e.g. 27.1 to 27.2) doesn't normally require a change to Woosage unless the Sage data path is also changed (see below).
When a new main version is released by Sage (e.g. when 27 became the latest version) then we have to build a new version of Woosage containing the updated SDO (Sage Data Objects) and create a new Woosage release for download. We usually get pre-release version provided by Sage so that a new version of Woosage is avalable when Sage make the their release generally available.
If you are running Woosage Pro, you will also need to update the ODBC driver as described here.
Changing the Sage Data Path
If upgrading Sage changes the Sage data path (i.e. where on the network the Sage data is stored) or if it is changed for any other reason, then this will need to be changed in the Woosage settings as described
here.
If you are running Woosage Pro, you will also need to update the ODBC driver as described
here.
