Woosage50 Credit Ordering

Woosage50 Credit Ordering

What is credit Ordering?

Credit ordering, which is available from release 2.5 onwards, is a Woosage Professional feature that enables you to allow certain customers to order products via your website without payment at the time of ordering. The customers will pay according to their usual payment terms. This is also known are on-account ordering or invoice ordering and requires a supported payment gateway plugin (see below for supported gateways).

Individual customers can have this feature as follows:
  1. A checkbox in their website user profile
  2. The Priority Customer checkbox in their Sage Customer Record
  3. The Terms Agreed checkbox in their Sage Customer Record

You can also include additional checks on the Sage customer account to prevent orders importing if the order will exceed the available credit on Sage or if the Sage account is on hold.

Held orders can present customers with an alternative payment option in the notification email.

For details of how to setup and use credit ordering see the following article.

Supported Payment Gateways

Credit ordering requires one or more supported payment gateways to allow customers to place orders without payment at the time of order and these can be selected in credit ordering payment methods. Woosage will automatically detect any of the following currently supported payment gateway plugins:
