Website Logins - Two Factor Authentication (2FA)
Occasionally, we need to access your website to provide support and we use the user credentials that were created for installing Woosage are used for this purpose.
Increasingly, website administrators are adding 2FA to improve security, which is completely understandable. However, they can limit our ability to provide support unless the secondary authentication method sends a link or code to the email address
support@woosage.com
We can't access 2FA methods that require codes via SMS text messages or authenticator apps, as there are multiple support agents that provide support via a centralised help desk linked to the support email address, and support agents often work remotely.
If you wish to use methods that require SMS text messages or authenticator apps then we will be unable to login to your website.
There are several plugins that support the generation of one time passcodes (time and hash based) via email alongside SMS & authenticator methods.
