Setting Sage Customer Account Codes via the Woosage Plugin

The Woosage plugin adds a field to the website user account details (shown below) to allow the Sage Account Code to be added to order generated by the user (when logged on), so that the order is imported to the relevant Sage account.

Add a Sage Account Code to a user profile, as follows:
  1. Select the User tab on the left of the WP dashboard
  2. Find the user you wish to add the Sage account to (it can also be added when creating a new user profile)
  3. Scroll down to the section head Woosage Sage Account Code
  4. Insert the Sage account code in to the Sage Account field
  5. Click Update User (or Add New User)

If the Sage account code is not present in Sage or the user did not log on to place teh order, then the order will be imported to the default account. The default account is configured in the Woosage settings and is usually WEBSALES, WEBORDERS or similar.  If the default code is not found, then the Order will not be imported.  When setting the default account ensure it is setup correctly in Sage and matches the code in the Settings.

User accounts can have their Sage Account Codes added manually, as described above, or by bulk import (see Bulk Update of Sage Account Codes)

Woosage Pro facilitates checking for existing account and dynamic account creation, based on the customers email address.
