Woosage50 FAQs

Woosage50 FAQs

The following information is intended to deal with any initial questions you may have about moving to Woosage50 from the current version.
  1. Is there any additional cost to the new version?
    1. No, all updates to Woosage are included in the subscription fee, which remain at its current level.
  2. What if we have problems with the new version?
    1. We will continue to provide a dedicated Woosage support team and you should raise a ticket in the first instance by emailing support@woosage.com
  3. Does Woosage50 take up more website resources?
    1. It uses slightly more storage that the current version to accommodate the settings and log data, but it will use much less processing resource (processor & memory) as it uses a more efficient API.
  4. Do I have to move to this new version?
    1. Our aim is to eventually move all Woosage clients to Woosage50 and end support for the current version.  While we have not yet set a date for the end of life for the current version it is unlikely to be updated for the next release of Sage and will certainly be before the end of 2024.
