Woosage50 32/64bit Architecture Strategy
Versions of Sage 50 Accounts from V30 onwards are available as a 64-bit version to improve the performance and compatibility with other 64-bit applications. Sage are continuing to provide a 32-bit version but new releases of the 32-bit version will no longer have automatic updates. Their long term plan is to move to a solely 64-bit version, but they have not stated timescales for the transition.
Woosage50 is now available as a 32-bit version or a 64-bit version and in order to focus developments on enhancing Woosage50, as opposed to maintaining two versions, we will only be adding new features to the 64-bit version with immediate effect and we advise clients to migrate to the 64-bit version of Sage if they are running Sage 30 or greater.
