Removing a Duplicate Monitor Service

Due to an internal error there have been situation where a duplicate Woosage Monitor Service is running, which cannot be stopped from the Woosage Control Centre.

To check if you have a duplicate enter Services in the Windows search box and click Open.

When the Services application opens click the Name column to sort in to reverse alphabetical order (you may have to click twice).

Check to see is there are two WoosageMonotorService entries.

If so, carry out the following steps:
  1. Enter CMD in the in the Windows search box and click Run as Administrator
  2. When the Command Prompt window opens enter SC delete Service1 and press Enter
The duplicate service will be removed.
