Running Woosage without Sage 50 Accounts installed

Woosage is usually installed on a PC that has Sage installed, but it can be installed without Sage, provided Sage Data Objects (SDO) is installed.

SDO is the means by which third-party applications, such as Woosage, can access Sage data and carry out Sage processes and it can be installed independently of the Sage application.

To do this go to your Sage account (e.g https://my.sage.co.uk/downloadcentre) and locate the Sage 50 Accounts SDO installer (it may be referred to as the Data Service or Data Service Installer )for the version of Sage that you are running, then download and install it following the installer instructions.

Installation Files

The following files are installed by the Sage 50 Accounts application and by the Sage50Accounts_SDO.msi and are required for SDO to work:
Sg50SDOEngine250.DLL *
SGRegister.dll *
SGDt32.dll
SGIntl32.dll
SGLMInterface
MFCxx.dll #
MSVCRxx.dll #
MSVCPxx.dll #
*these files are registered by the Accounts / SDO installation. In the SDO engine DLL the 250 indicates the version (25, in this case)
#these are Microsoft files
