Checking or Changing the Woosage Service Status

Checking or Changing the Woosage Service Status

Using Woosage Control Centre

The status of the Woosage Service can be checked from the Utilities tab of the Woosage Control Centre, as shown below, and is normally Running.

The Woosage Service can be stopped from here and it will then show as Stopped, but occasionally it is stopped by external events and processes and may still show as Running but the next processing cycle has not yet started.  An indication of this is that the Last Cycle time will show in red, which in turn indicates that more than the Sleep Time has elapsed since the last cycle ended.

In such cases it is advisable to restart the service from here by clicking the orange Restart button.

Using The Windows Services application

If the status is showing Running, but no processing is being carried out then it is possible that the Woosage Service has hung and must be restarted via the Windows Services application.  This should be a rare occurrence and if it happens frequently it should be reported to Support.

To restart Woosage from Windows Services, click the Windows search icon and type Services to reveal the Service application and to open it, as shown below.

This will then show a list of the Windows Services.

Scroll down to find and select the Woosage Service, then right-click and select Restart.
